Tuacahn Presents Michael McLean, BYU Young Ambassadors, Peter Breinholt,
Jon Schmidt, & Collin Raye

Ivins, UT - Tuacahn Amphitheatre welcomes an exciting lineup of musicians this spring as part of the annual Spring Concert Series. The fun begins on Friday, March 31 with Michael McLean and Friends. They will be followed by the BYU Young Ambassadors on April 8, Peter Breinholt with The Sam Payne Project on April 15, Jon Schmidt with featured vocalists from the Shadow Mountain recording label on April 22, and country music superstar Collin Raye on Friday, May 12: five family friendly concerts in the 2000-seat Tuacahn Amphitheatre. On Friday, March 31, Tuacahn welcomes multi-platinum singer/songwriter Michael McLean (creator of “The Forgotten Carols” & “The Ark”) along with vocalists Scott Mclean; singer/songwriter Cherie Call; vocalist Katie Thompson, famous for her portrayal of Connie Lou from “The Forgotten Carols;” and John Batdorf, fresh off the success of the recent film “The Best Two Years.”

On Saturday, April 8, BYU’s Young Ambassadors present a celebration of Broadway through song and dance in their 90-minute performance entitled “The Circle of Life.” Exciting choreography, intricate costumes, and show-stopping melodies bring to life the magic of Broadway with all its charm. This non-stop revue features music from many of the musicals you’ve come to love such as The Lion King, Fiddler on the Roof, and Thoroughly Modern Millie.

On Saturday, April 15, Peter Breinholt returns to the Tuacahn Amphitheatre following last year’s sold out performance. Singer/songwriter Peter Breinholt has been delighting audiences with his self-styled acoustic music for more than a decade. He has filled the house at Tuacahn and in every major concert hall in Utah, including Kingsbury Hall, Capitol Theater, Sundance, the Sandy City Amphitheater, and Thanksgiving Point. His credits include five albums, a concert DVD, two guitar songbooks, a film score, Pearl Awards, songwriting awards and concerts with several symphony orchestras.

On Saturday, April 22, new age classical pianist and composer John Schmidt returns to the Tuacahn Amphitheatre. Schmidt is well known for his remarkably diverse musical style. Jon’s credits include six albums, five popular volumes of original piano scores, a Pearl Award, a televised PBS concert, and "A Jon Schmidt Christmas" which has fast become a successful yearly Christmas tradition along the Wasatch Front.

Friday, May 12 brings country superstar Collin Raye to Tuacahn for the first time! He's sold more than five million albums, and now, Arkansas native and country music singer Raye makes a special appearance at Tuacahn's majestic red cliff amphitheatre. He will surely delight Southern Utah music lovers with some of his twelve chart-topping singles such as "Love, Me," "In This Life," and "I Think About You." Raye is known for his passionate songs and showmanship. He began attracting Nashville’s attention in the 1980s as the lead singer of The Wrays, and after Epic Records signed him, he's been climbing the charts and entertaining audiences around the country ever since.
