Tuacahn regularly accepts applications for both part time and full time seasonal positions. Please click on the link at the bottom of this page to fill out an application. *Please note - If we are not hiring at the time of your submission, we will keep your application on file, but WILL NOT respond to you unless we are interested in contacting you for an interview.

Year Round Positions:

  • Scene Shop Foreman - Oversight of scene shop for the building of large-scale theatrical productions. Assist with shop drawings and cut sheets, ensure the material needed for shop builds is available. Click here for more information.

Seasonal Positions:

Tuacahn's 2019 production build period runs from late April through June 16, 2019. Most technical theatre positions are full time during that period. Some late nights required. After June 16, most positions require work Monday - Saturday from approximately 6:00 pm - 11:30 pm. Seasonal positions work the summer holidays.


  • Wardrobe Supervisor- The Wardrobe Supervisor is responsible for leading a crew of 6 in preparing, maintaining, and steam/ironing all costumes in preparation for all shows as well as performing pre-sets of costumes and completing show dressing cues in an outdoor setting.   • Wig/Makeup Supervisor- The Wig/Makeup Supervisor is responsible for leading a crew of 4 in maintaining, sanitizing, style/upkeep, and application of wigs for all shows as well as performing pre-sets of wigs and completing show wig cues in an outdoor setting. Click here for more information.
  • Seasonal Scene Shop Carpenter-Under the direction of the Assistant Technical Director and Shop Foreman assist in the building and construction and scenic element as needed.Click here for more information.
  • Costume Craft Artesian-The Craft person is responsible for the construction, fitting and alteration of costume craft items, including but not limited to: armor, puppets, masks, footwear, belts, bags, jewelry and dye work.Click here for more information.
  • Draper/Cutter-The Draper/Cutter is responsible for the production of patterns based on the costume renderings, sketches, research, and verbal instructions of the Costume Designer.Click here for more information.
  • First Hand-The First Hand is responsible for cutting out all assigned costumes and helps guide the stitching team through costume builds and alterations.Click here for more information.
  • Stitcher-The Stitcher is responsible for the alteration and/or construction of all assigned costumes.Click here for more information.
  • Wardrobe Crew-The Wardrobe Crew is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and steam/ironing all costumes in preparation for all shows as well as performing pre-sets of costumes and completing show dressing cues in an outdoor setting.Click here for more information.
  • Wardrobe Supervisor-The Wardrobe Supervisor is responsible for leading a crew of 6 in preparing, maintaining, and steam/ironing all costumes in preparation for all shows as well as performing pre-sets of costumes and completing show dressing cues in an outdoor setting.Click here for more information.
  • Wig Build Technician-The Wig Build Technician is responsible for building and styling all wigs as per designs from the Wig Designer.Click here for more information.
  • Wig/Makeup Crew-The Wig/Makeup Crew is responsible maintenance, sanitation, style/upkeep, and application of wigs for all shows as well as performing pre-sets of wigs and completing show wig cues in an outdoor setting.Click here for more information.
  • Properties Artisan-The Prop Artisan builds and maintains properties and scenic dressing for Entertainment Department projects and assists in the day-to-day operations of the Entertainment Production Center's prop shop.Click here for more information.
  • Seasonal Scene Shop Carpenter-To facilitate the building of sets and scenic elements for the Broadway production's season. Assist in set up and strike of other Tuacahn productions.Click here for more information.
  • Seasonal A-1 Audio Technician-To assist and the staff A-1 through the opening of the first two Broadway in the Canyon production including A-1 duties for one of the production, then to become the A-1 for the indoor summer production.Click here for more information.
  • Deck Audio -To assist with implementation and operation of wireless microphones and orchestral microphones for live reinforcement as directed by the A-1. To assist other departments as directed by the Technical Director or Assistant Technical Director.Click here for more information.
