He is also a proud Alumni of Mira Costa College’s Theater Program and UC Irvine’s MFA in Acting program. He has a plethora of teaching/ instructional experience where he first taught multiple classes at UC Irvine’s Claire Trevor School of the Arts during his time as a graduate student, he was also a Teaching Artist for The Young Shakespeareans (an after school arts program serving Los Angeles’ underserved communities), as well as an Instructional Assistant at Major General Murray High School (a public continuation school). RANDAL KEITH* (N: Professor Ray, Nigel, Ensemble | L: Javert) is honored to return to Tuacahn in Les Misérables, a story that has shaped much of his artistic journey. He previously spent nine years performing Jean Valjean in Les Misérables on Broadway, on national tour, and in Asia, and is deeply grateful to now explore the role of Javert from a new and deeply compelling perspective. At Tuacahn, he has appeared in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Jersey Boys, Newsies, and The Little Mermaid, and always cherishes the opportunity to perform in such a breathtaking setting. His career has also included national tours of The Phantom of the Opera, Sunset Boulevard, and Spamalot. His concert work has taken him to venues including Walt Disney Concert Hall and internationally to Seoul, South Korea. Randal is continually inspired by the power of music and storytelling and is especially thankful to share this evolving journey with the Tuacahn community.

COBY ORAM (N: Ensemble | L: Joly, Ensemble, u/s Marius) grew up in St. George, UT, and graduated from Tuacahn High School with his identical twin brother in 2016. The last show he performed on the amphitheater stage alongside his fellow classmates was Grease. Now Coby is based out of New York City and is best known for playing the role of Frankie Valli in numerous productions of Jersey Boys. Other favorite credits include Tarzan in Disney’s Tarzan and originating the role of SLUG in the world premiere of Planet W. Coby’s on-screen credits include the horror flick Livescreamers and the upcoming Rom-Com Startup Love. He is passionate about travel, new works, film, and songwriting. MINDY SMOOT ROBBINS* (L: Fantine) has a lifelong connection to Les Misérables that began in childhood—playing Cosette in a student production and, at 11, sitting spellbound as Candese Marchese sang “On My Own” on the Broadway tour. In that moment in the balcony, she knew she wanted to be in this musical. She grew up listening to the album on repeat in her parents’ Cadillac, and at 20 received the dream phone call to join the 10th Anniversary Broadway tour—understudying Éponine (Sutton Foster) and performing alongside Colm Wilkinson, whose voice had filled her childhood. Returning now as Fantine marks a full-circle homecoming to the story that first inspired her, and she is honored to return to the Tuacahn stage after playing Mary Poppins (Mary), The Sound of Music (Maria, Liesl), My Fair Lady (Eliza), Matilda (Miss Honey), Annie Get Your Gun (Annie), and Annie (Grace). Mindy is an owner of Utah COPA, with three locations serving over 700 musical theater students across the state, and is forever grateful for her husband, Conor, and their children—Abe, Mylee, Anna, and Niko—for their love and support.

DAVID TOOLE* (N: Ensemble | L: Jean Valjean) Last appeared at TCA in 2021 as Edmund Dantes in Count of Monte Cristo and he and his family have missed the canyon ever since! JAYVEN COOK (L: Gavroche) is so excited to be playing Gavroche in Les Misérables at Tuacahn Center for the Arts! This role is a dream come true! He previously appeared at Tuacahn las summer as a Munchkin in The Wizard of Oz , where he made friends that will last a lifetime, and before that played Young Scrooge/Jonathan in A Christmas Carol in the Tuacahn indoor Hafen theater. He recently began attending Vista School of the Performing Arts and is excited to keep learning and growing as a performer. When he’s not on stage, he loves spending time with his family and doing gymnastics, basketball, and football. He also lives with Type 1 Diabetes and wants other kids to know it doesn’t have to hold you back—with determination and a positive attitude you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.
BETTY JORGENSEN (L: Young Cosette, Young Eponine) feels like she is in a castle on a cloud getting to work with this amazing cast! Most recently, you may have seen Betty in Elf the Musical at Tuacahn’s Hafen theater. Other favorite roles include Tommy in Matilda (SGMT), Squirt in Finding Nemo (Encore), Molly in Annie (Broadway Bound), and many others! When she isn’t on stage, Betty enjoys soccer, crafts, viola, and piano. Betty wants to thank Brittani and all her teachers at Utah Copa, as well as Mimi and Kara for their vocal training. Much love to her family and friends, and a special thanks to Sarah, Ashley, Christopher, Shari, and the rest of the Tuacahn team for believing in her! She hopes this show helps you dream a dream for one day more!
EMMITT KLC (L: Gavroche) is 10 years old and is currently attending Vista School of Performing Arts as a 4th grader, right here in Ivins. Emmitt loves to act, dance, and play soccer when he isn’t going to school. He started acting when he was 5 years old in the Jr. Production of Lion King. Since then he has been in Shrek the Musical Jr. , Beauty and the Beast Jr., and Matilda the Musical Jr. For the past 4 years he has been in his school production of the Nutcracker, it’s one of his favorite things to be apart of. Emmitt is so excited to be part of the magic here at Tuacahn for his first season and share the stage with so many talented actors. He wants to say thank you so his family and teachers who have always been there to support him.
KASSIE NIELSON (L: Young Cosette, Young Eponine) is honored to be making her debut on the big Tuacahn stage this season! Since recently discovering her love for musical theater, she has performed in Les Miserables (Young Cosette), A Christmas Carol – A New Musical (Tiny Tim), and Anastasia (Young Anastasia) all with Encore Performing Arts in St. George, UT. In her free time Kassie enjoys doing art projects and playing with her dog. Kassie wishes to thank her family and friends as well as her directors and mentors at Encore Performing Arts and St. George Children’s Choir for their love and encouragement.
LENA WHITE (L: Young Cosette, Young Eponine) is back in the canyon for her fourth show with Tuacahn. She hasn’t stopped smiling since she joined the cast of Anastasia two summers ago as Young Anastasia. Since then, Tuacahn has been her second home while playing Fan/Grace in A Christmas Carol and a munchkin in The Wizard of Oz. She recently played Matilda in Matilda Jr. at her school where she also enjoys being part of the corps dance company. Lena studies voice and acting with Lisa Hopkins Seegmiller, Tony Award Winner & Grammy Award Nominee. A native to the red rocks of St. George, Lena spends her free time exploring the outdoors with her family, making custom jewelry, learning Chinese, and volunteering at P.A.W.S animal rescue.
