A chat with Julie Chapman (Tuacahn ShowCare Manager)

I’m always a little surprised to hear that many people, including Tuacahn employees, don’t know that we have a child care center here at Tuacahn. ShowCare is a fully licensed child care facility where parents can bring their children ages 0 to 7 years old to be cared for by trained professionals. Reservations for ShowCare can be made through the box office when purchasing show tickets or up to 24 hours prior to the show.

Children in ShowCare may watch a movie, play in one of our interest centers, go outside and play in the sandbox, do an art project or they may fall asleep while their parents enjoy the show in the amphitheatre just a short walk away.

Tuacahn ShowCare has been operating since the beginning of the 2012 Broadway season. We started out in a portable classroom but moved into the

beautiful space we’re in now, next to the Gift Gallery, on August 1, 2017. We also opened Tuacahn ChildCare, a year-round daytime child care center open to the public at that time.
