While commercial theatres are geared toward making a profit for investors, non-profit theatres, like Tuacahn, are driven by a mission and overarching desire for artistic excellence and innovation. Here is Tuacahn’s official mission statement:

It’s a lofty mission and donors are a large part of what make it possible with their generous contributions. Darrin Winn heads up the effort, managing the development and fundraising efforts at Tuacahn. Cue the applause for Darrin and get to know him below!
- How long have you worked at Tuacahn?Â
Only a few weeks! Since January 1, 2024
- What do you do for Tuacahn?
I am the new Development Manager. I am responsible for receiving donations to help Tuacahn continue to grow and impact people through our amazing shows, concerts, and events. I do this by getting business sponsorships, building strong relationships with donors, and creating programs that make it easy to give to Tuacahn.
- What is your favorite part of working at Tuacahn?
My favorite part of working at Tuacahn is the people. This is such an amazing organization and the people who work here are the reason for that.
- What is your favorite show you’ve seen at Tuacahn?

My favorite show I have seen at Tuacahn is The Count of Monte Cristo from a few years ago. It was done so well, and the special effects were awesome!
- Something fun about you/something that people might not know.
I am a Girl Dad with four beautiful daughters. They wanted me to come work here at Tuacahn because they want to see Frozen so badly this year.
Most people don’t realize that it takes millions of dollars to produce a world-class Broadway production. By donating to Tuacahn Center for the Arts, you become a partner in our mission. You help create the magic that Tuacahn offers, and you make our stories here at Tuacahn part of your story. Click here to explore ways you can give to Tuacahn, or contact Darrin directly via email.
