Oh my goodness! Tuacahn you have seriously changed my life!! I got to come and see newsies with my high school dance team and drama club and all of us were speechless! Literally squealing during intermission about how incredible it was. With your beautiful canyon in the back making it ten times more amazing! It was so incredible I begged my mom to come back and see it again because I talked about that show sooo much and eventually she gave me an early birthday present and I got to come back to your amazing theatre and watch it again! Tuachan you seriously changed my life I truly want to follow my musical theatre career because of you! My instagram profile even has the beautiful canyon of Tuacahn! I really hope I can come back! Happy valentines!

My body is South of Salt Lake but my feet are in a new land, tapping along to every Disney song they make (When you Wish)

My body is South of Salt Lake but my eyes are in Paris, watching a queen do a double take,(Anastasia)

My body is South of Salt Lake but my skin is in Arendelle, despite the heat I feel a snowflake, (Frozen)

My body is South of Salt Lake but my hands are in a market, holding a new keepsake, (Tuacahn market)

My body is South of Salt Lake but my mouth is in New York, shouting “Strike” with some newsies who can’t catch a break, (Newsies)

My body is South of Salt Lake but my knees are in Oz, when the wizard speaks they shake, (Wizard of Oz)

My body is South of Salt Lake but my nose is under the sea, smelling water with each intake, (Little Mermaid)

My body is South of Salt Lake but my head is somewhere else, convinced this world is real, not fake,

My body is back in Idaho but my heart is still in Tuacahn, remembering the magic that they make

To my favorite Amphitheatre,
The red rocks are beautiful, but the memories I’ve made within them are what I treasure most. From the nostalgia of The Wizard of Oz and The Little Mermaid to the inspiration of Annie and When You Wish, you have been the backdrop to some of my favorite moments. It’s the way I feel when the music starts to echo off the canyon walls that keeps me coming back. Thank you for the magic. I can’t wait for more memories to be made with my favorite people in the seats next to me.

My love letter to Tuacahn,

I met you when I was young. Speechless at your beauty, and mesmerized by your talent. And then every summer, you were all I cared about. You inspired me to start performing. And I did. Every audition. Every show. You made me want to be better. You became my new dream and just last December I was privileged to audition for you. I love you Tuacahn Happy Valentine’s Day all!
