Be a Part of Creating Tuacahn Magic

When your number one job is to create world-class Broadway theater productions, you have to recruit the best of the best to make it happen. Tuacahn’s casting team travels all over the country to hold auditions for professional actors for this very reason. But while the actors hold the spotlight, they are just one piece of the puzzle. Many talented, creative people dedicate themselves behind-the-scenes to doing what it takes to pull off the breathtaking moments patrons enjoy when they take a trip to Tuacahn.

HR Director Joseph Smith explains, “This is an exciting time of year for Tuacahn and its patrons as we look to hire in excess of 300 talented artists and artisans to create the theatrical and musical magic on stage this coming season! Our goal is to find the finest professional talent this country has to offer.”

Sets, costumes, wigs, lighting, sound, special effects—all of it has to be designed and created for each of the 5 Broadway shows that Tuacahn will produce this season. Many of the jobs to pull it off are seasonal and some are year-round, but all of them rely on finding exceptionally talented individuals to pull it off.

Conferences like this are a great opportunity to find talent and experience, but that doesn’t mean Tuacahn doesn’t give locals a chance to apply, as well. Many of Tuacahn’s actors and behind-the-scenes crew have been local to the area. “At Tuacahn, we believe that by bringing in talented individuals from our own backyard, we not only build a stronger, more connected team but also contribute to the cultural enrichment of our community,” says Technical Director Brendan Baker.

With the Outdoor Amphitheatre, an indoor theater, a cafe, a gift gallery, facility rentals, and a childcare center, Tuacahn Center for the Arts is a nonprofit arts organization that has a lot of moving parts. “The fact is that the people here at Tuacahn create amazing shows,” says Smith. “From cast to crew, they are absolutely the finest!”

If you’re ready to add a little magic to your life, we invite you to come be a part of the 2024 Broadway Season at Tuacahn where you can work on producing professional Broadway musicals of Anastasia, Disney’s Frozen, Jersey Boys, Ring of Fire, and A Christmas Carol!
