Length: 2.9 miles
Elevation gain: 744 ft
Route Type: Out & Back
Trail: Moderate Plus
Come enjoy a beautiful hike right here in our back yard. You can access the trail from our north east parking lot just right of the Tuacahn entrance. The trail will pass above our animal corrals. We ask that you do not intrude onto our property but stay on the marked trail, so the animals don’t get spooked. The single dirt path is easy to follow consisting of sand and rock. Trail starts off easy, then gets a bit more challenging.
It has a steep incline with some rock scrambling and high elevation which makes it a moderate hike not for everyone. Part of the trail is washed out, so watch your step. At the top it’s all worth it because you’ll find beautiful views on either side of the saddle and extraordinary rock formations.
