As our 2023 Broadway Season nears the awaited opening night, preparations are underway to create the magic that comes to life on stage.

The intricate sets and stories you see play out on stage when you come to a performance at Tuacahn must begin somewhere. From a dream, to a sketch, and finally to the colorful, magic that puts you right into the story, our sets and stage presentation are a marvel.

Our first show opening in the 2023 Season of Pure Imagination is a classic re-imagining of Roald Dahl’s beloved children’s novel, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Taking place in our Outdoor Amphitheatre, this regional premiere is full of mouth-watering visuals that will satisfy your sweet tooth.

Now, you can see preparations starting on the mystical boat that carries the golden ticket winners through Willy Wonka’s factory, plus the fantastic gates that will open to reveal the secrets of the factory to the world. As the opening of the season nears, more and more will be completed, to be revealed on stage at Tuacahn for the first time.

From the all-too-close quarters of the Bucket family home to the expansive color-filled candy shop and beyond, there are many a sweet surprise in store for those who enter Wonka—and Tuacahn’s—world of Pure Imagination.
